After seeing the beautiful births and progression of some of our favorite artists careers, Something in the Parking Lot began as a feeling of pride within the Hampton Roads Community. Sponsored by U Ready Ent, Something in the Parking Lot is a celebration of some of our local talent, by your local talent. From the comedian who makes our stomachs turn with laughter, to the food truck owner who keeps our stomachs full with good eats, to the sultry singer who puts butterflies in our stomachs with her slick words and raspy tone; Something in the Parking Lot is a celebration of us. Ever been to a new restaurant that you honestly took for a joke and wrote off as hole in the wall. Next thing you know that same place turns out to be filled with the most delicious food, friendly staff, and amazing vibes. We live for those ‘Hole in the Wall’ moments. We are the wall with the ever so placed holes, each of them filled with a precious gem that helps make our community so awesome. We appreciate those hidden gems, so much that we wanted to create an event dedicated to those local superstars! We have a lot in store that we can’t wait to share.
